Nice Ranger Win

Very strong Ranger road outing in a 5-2 matinee win at Ottawa. 2 goals for Shanahan; the power play clicked for a pair and Henrik had his "pedestrian" 31 stops. Jaromir Jagr, who appears to have stopped his gun-shy blues, said that the first period was the team's best of the year. Tom Renney acknowledges the Sens' uncharacteristic slump, saying "we respect that," but knew that they couldn't "sit back" after jumping out to 3-0 lead after 20. Key play early was Colton Orr walking away from a bait job in the first period - Renney said Orr told him, "All he wanted to do was go." Good discipline and a very tasty two points. :) Back in first with Philly playing tonight.
